Wind

ivory wavelets-
remnants of the evening’s wind
scalloped in the snow

winter’s fury-
a tempest borne
on driven snow

Wind

cold wind in my face-
through watering eyes I watch
hawks soar overhead

pure joy-
jowls flapping
in the slipstream

Wind

leafless and barren
bowed trees pledge their fealty
to the harsh north wind

november eve-
silver wind in
empty trees

Wind

wind rustles the leaves
and coaxes a dryad’s song
of spring from the trees

whispers-
forest giants
shake off the cold

Wind

the ghost of winter
runs her fingers through my hair
and kisses my neck

a cold wind-
blowing sand
and salt spray

Wind

a cool morning breeze-
silver waves ripple across
unmown fields of grass

gulls over the beach-
cattails bowed to
the rising sun

Wind

gauzy white and gray
shifting in the breeze on a
cerulean sea

morning sun-
dust rises from
the desert floor

Wind

golden fields of wheat-
long blades of giant windmills
lazily turning

arid sun-
sagebrush
swirls in wind

Wind

the fire laid on while
winter in all its fury
rages at my door

grey skies-
cruel winter winds
howl at the moon

Wind

sudden autumn snow-
wind blown beauty and carnage
behind in its wake

cold winds-
whorls and eddies
of fallen leaves
