the bathroom mirror-
a message written in steam
appears in your hand
–
starlit noon-
steam pours
from off the rocks

driving past the farm
hummocks of mulch lie steaming
in the morning sun
–
leafless trees-
mist rises above
the duck pond

A humid spring day
Sudden rain soaks the asphalt
And leaves it steaming
