Reflection

can’t tell from here if
I’m inside looking out or
outside looking in

midnight musing-
maybe I’m the one
in the mirror

Reflection

through endless farmland-
I suddenly see myself
in a passing train

ice tinged puddles-
a stranger lingers
in the water

Reflection

a golden eagle-
soaring as the sun sinks on
a cumbrian lake

reflections-
autumn leaves
in the water

Reflection

it’s not who I am
this someone in the mirror
but who I became

a placid lake-
the moon’s watery
countenance

Reflection

feeling the glass give
reaching in through the mirror
to pull myself out

glassy water
ripples spread
across the surface
